Our Ethos

Welcome to Brighton Rock Workshop®. We are a small, family-run business based in the heart of Sussex, UK (formerly based in Spain). We specialise in long-lasting and high-quality skincare and home-fragrance products which we make by hand in our workshop in Brighton.

Brighton is a place that we hold fondly in our hearts, which is why it is the centre of our brand. We believe in everything that Sussex has to offer - from artistic creativity to animal welfare, LGBTQ+ rights, freedom of expression, and giving back to the environment.

The health of the environment is at the forefront of our minds when creating our unique products. We source all components and packaging locally and support other small businesses when sourcing supplies. We use recycled or recyclable materials and produce in small batches, always by hand. Everything you buy from us will always be vegan-friendly and cruelty-free; from the fragrances we use all the way to the ink and glue on our labels. We are an animal-loving family and we wanted to make sure that our brand reflects this. After much research on a multitude of charities and organisations, we were pointed in the direction of Fripps Farm Animal Rescue in Essex, UK.

Fripps Farm was founded by former model, bodybuilder, and documentary maker Jodie Marsh. What we love most about this CIC is how much they genuinely care for every single animal that comes their way, no matter how difficult or expensive the journey of recovery is going to be. Fripps Farm take in sick, wounded and abandoned animals that other larger and better-known charities have turned away. All proceeds donated go towards the rescue, welfare, and maintenance of over 250 domestic and non-domestic animals at their centre, and you can see it all with your own eyes via their daily live updates on social media. They are a genuinely selfless, wholesome, animal-loving team who are 110% devoted to saving the lives of animals, giving them a forever home filled with comfort, love, and round-the-clock care.

As of 01/12/2022, Brighton Rock Workshop will be donating a percentage of all profits from website sales to Fripps Farm Animal Rescue. We also hope to be able to make one-off larger donations as often as we are able to.

For more information on Fripps Farm or to get involved directly, please visit their website and follow them on social media for regular updates (@FrippsFarm).
